Amazon is looking to sell outdoor furniture, including folding chairs, tables, and stools, in 2018, as it continues to sell items from the retailer’s new outdoor store.
The retailer announced the plans Tuesday.
The new store, which will be called Amazon Outdoors, will feature items like folding chairs and strollers, as well as a range of outdoor furniture.
“Outdoor furniture can be used for outdoor adventures, including camping, camping trips, hiking, canoeing, snowshoeing, and snowshoveling,” Amazon said in a statement.
“Amazon Outdoors will include an assortment of outdoor seating, storage and transportation options, as part of our commitment to offering a wide range of products that can fit any outdoor lifestyle.”
The new outdoor shop will be located in the US states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, and Colorado, with Amazon planning to open its stores in more than 30 cities by the end of 2019.
The company did not reveal pricing for the new store.
Amazon currently sells a range the company sells to its customers online through its own online store, Amazon Prime, and through retailers including Walmart, Target, Walmart.com, and Amazon.com.
The retail giant also sells some items through the company’s Amazon Fresh program, which is a free service for people to purchase and ship to their homes, and also through its online grocery delivery service.
