The U.S. online retailer is now selling the Prime membership service to a wider audience.
Amazon has become the first major online retailer to offer a membership that offers unlimited shopping across its products, a move that some critics said was a departure from other big names in the industry.
Prime customers will also be able to stream movies and TV shows from Netflix, Amazon said Monday.
The move follows several months of aggressive promotions for Prime customers, which have increased their spending and boosted their sales in the months since the retailer announced the plan.
It also comes as the company has faced criticism over its pay-TV service.
